C/O Berlin opens again!

C/O Berlin will reopen the exhibitions and the C/O Berlin Bookshop on May 21, 2020, initially from Thursday to Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.. The C/O Berlin × Barkin’Kitchen Café will restart with a takeaway service. All technical and organizational preparations to implement the hygiene measures necessary to ensure safe distancing and to reduce contact will be completed by Ascension Day to turn the Amerika Haus to a place of encounter again.

We are very happy to have succeeded in extending our current exhibitions Linda McCartney . The Polaroid Diaries, Francesca Woodman . On Being an Angel as well as Sophie Thun . Extension to September 5, 2020. Guided public tours, events accompanying the exhibitions, and workshops will not be taking place until further notice, and will be rescheduled for a later date if possible. Annual cards that have expired during our closure will be extended for up to two months.

Please only visit us, if you feel healthy. In order to keep you and our staff healthy we have taken comprehensive hygiene and safety measures in accordance with the current regulations of the State of Berlin to stop the spread of Coronavirus.

Opening Hours
Our exhibitions are currently open Thursday through Sunday from 11 am to 8 pm. Last entrance is 7:30 pm. Detailed information on opening hours, route descriptions, and prices you will find here.

Contactless Payment
We appreciate your cashless payment.

Time Slot Tickets
The total number of visitors in the galleries is currently limited. To visit our exhibitions we recommend you to purchase a time slot ticket online in advance. Tickets on site are limited. Please be prepared for waiting times at the entrance.

Guided Tours
Currently there are no guided tours.

Please avoid bringing bags bigger than 25cm x 35cm x10cm. You can wait in the basement before promptly storing your belongings. Don’t forget to bring a one euro coin to avoid change at the cash desk.

Please wear a nose-mouth-protection for everyone’s safety. A scarf or shawl can also be used. Please understand that it is not sufficient to pull your clothing over your mouth and nose.

Please keep a minimum distance of 1.5 meters from other visitors and our staff.

Please regularly wash your hands for at least 20 seconds and use our disinfectant dispensers.

Sneeze Etiquette
Please cough and sneeze into your elbow, not into your hands.

Toilets, door handles, and frequently used surfaces will be cleaned and disinfected several times a day.

Our staff receives hygiene and safety trainings. Please follow their instructions for your own safety.

C/O Berlin Bookshop
You can visit our bookshop in connection with a visit of our exhibitions. Six people at a time can browse through our books and catalogs. A hand disinfection is provided. You will find a wide range of publications and shop items in our new online shop.

C/O Berlin × Barkin’Kitchen Café
During the opening hours of our exhibitions you will find a take-away in the café. Food and drinks have to be paid cashless.
