Nature populates the photographs of artist Jochen Lempert in all its variety. On closer examination, the photographs reveal an interplay of associations and echoes. Photography’s possibilities for depicting merge with animal and plant traits: the resulting work can be read as artistic variations on biology.
In the Artist Tour, Jochen Lempert and curator Dr. Kathrin Schönegg guide visitors through his unique oeuvre and explain the process of creation and production through selected images.
