Meet the Bees

Get to know the two bee colonies on the roof terrace of the Amerika Haus up close on a honey-sweet evening. The bees have been living with us since the summer of 2021 and are cared for by the beekeeper Gunnar from the Bee-Rent company. Join him on a quest to find the queen bee and learn why bees are so worth protecting.

During the lecture, you will have the opportunity to visit the current exhibitions, including Lingering Sensations by Jochen Lempert. In his unique work, the artist poetically captures the animal and plant world around us – therefore it is not uncommon to find bees in his photography.

Afterwards, you can look forward to a delicious honey drink in our café.
